Medical and Dental Hours: Monday through Friday 9-5 p.m.

No patient will be declined care because of an inability to pay for services. Patients will be expected to comply with the efforts of the Sunshine Clinic staff to ascertain the existence of any third-party insurance (Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, SCHIP, etc.) coverage a patient may possess, or otherwise appropriately document said patient’s inability to pay for services. Sunshine Clinic does not want financial constraints to prevent individuals and families from seeking the care that is needed; therefore we have adopted a sliding fee discount schedule. Patients qualifying for a sliding fee discount will be expected to pay an affordable flat fee at the time services are rendered. This payment will cover a single provider visit.  There will be an extra minimal charge for ancillary services such as lab and x-rays.  This payment does not cover pharmaceuticals or dental, there is a separate schedule for those services.


Medical Services
SCHC offers a full spectrum of primary care services at its family practice clinics including:

    * Family Medical Practice - management of acute and chronic illnesses
    * Pediatric & Adolescent Care
    * Minor Surgery
    * Pregnancy Care
    * Physical Exams (Well Child Checks, Sports, Schools, DOT)
    * Family Planning and Gynecological Services
    * Immunizations
    * Colorectal Screening

Dental Services
A full range of dental services are available at each of the four dental clinics in the SCHC system:

    * Family Dentistry
    * Preventive Services and Education
    * Emergencies
    * Pediatric

This is a health care center funded by the federal government. This means even if you have no insurance you can be covered. The center is also income based for those making an income. This health center can cover services such as checkups, treatment, pregnancy care (where applicable), immunizations and child care (where applicable), prescription medicine and mental and substance abuse where applicable.
