Old Town Mission Vocational Industries is a division of our ministry focused on Job creation and training. Our concept is through social Enterprise we will share the love of God by providing employment, job and life skill training to disadvantaged individuals. This will be accomplished through the development of diverse businesses that simultaneously pursue a triple bottom line of spiritual, social and earned income returns on investment.
The Mission began in 1989 as a humble "soup-kitchen" style outreach, served from the back of a pick-up truck, in Old Town Cottonwood. The ultimate goal was to meet the basic needs of folks, while demonstrating God's love and encouragement, to assist them "up and out" of their circumstances relating to poverty. This "hands on" approach was inspired by the words of Jesus found in Mark 12:30-31, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind and with all your strength. And you shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.".
Office Hours:
M - TH 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Fri 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
