Healing the Children Northeast is a volunteer, non profit organization whose purpose is to help children throughout the world receive medical care unavailable to them due to lack of medical and financial resources or health insurance. Children are provided these services through three basic programs. Our Stateside Program has treated over 6000 children alone. Healing the Children locates doctors and hospitals in the US willing to donate their services, provides host family homes for the children and provides round trip airfare (which includes an escort) for each child.
