The Open Door Health Center is committed to providing health care services to the uninsured and underinsured who have no other financial means to obtain medical services. We grew from a grass roots effort started by a small number of concerned and caring individuals who saw a need, and provided a solution. About 43 volunteer physicians provide patient care on-site and through referrals. Another 50 volunteer nurses and lay persons provide clinical and clerical services to our patients.
