The Teen Connection of Takoma has been incorporated to provide responsible health care and education to uninsured and underinsured female teens and young adults. Our mission is to provide healthcare, incorporating each girl's social environment and emotional well being into a comprehensive educational program. The staff and our Board of Directors are committed to achieving our goals. The Teen Connection strives to decrease the number of unwanted pregnancies in the teenage population, decrease the number of sexually transmitted diseases contracted by educating teens and young adults about transmission and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. We also strive to educate teens and young adults about sexuality and the importance of making responsible decisions about sexual activity.
