Dove Counseling is 18 years old. Reaching out to families, and individuals hurting from deep pain and hurt. Giving hope to the broken hearted and providing healing to many through professionals dedicated to Christ. Serving all faiths and beliefs, through love and nurturing, showing all the love of God. In 2000 expanded to served the medically underserved, those needing medical treatment and counseling services. Dove counseling offers a sliding fee scale to those unable to afford mental health services. Volunteer staff the medical clinic. Physicians, nurses, social workers and others work together to offer services. The first volunteer/free clinic of this type in Jackson county. Many families are helped and marriages are strengthened through Dove. Many churches are coming together to support our organization in prayer and financially. Dove depends on grants and donations as counseling fees and insurance do not cover clinic expenses.New programs are being developed as the community has need. Strength through networking with other organizations is important to our board and staff.
