 OHI is a nonprofit community health center based in Ocean Count, NJ providing preventative and primary healthcare to the uninsured and underinsured residents of the area.

The mission of Ocean Health Initiatives is to empower the medically underserved residents of Ocean County with the tools they need to maintain optimum physical and emotional health, through the provision of quality, accessible and comprehensive primary health care, regardless of economic status or ability to pay.

We strive to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices through ongoing educational outreach. Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life.

In recognition of this commitment, we will deliver high quality healthcare in the communities we serve, and deliver these services with compassion, kindness and a respect for human dignity.

This is a health care center funded by the federal government. This means even if you have no insurance you can be covered. The center is also income based for those making an income. This health center can cover services such as checkups, treatment, pregnancy care (where applicable), immunizations and child care (where applicable), prescription medicine and mental and substance abuse where applicable.
