Neighbors Along The Line was founded in 1976 by John Knox, a Presbyterian minister. An abused wife/mother had arrived in Tulsa owning nothing but what they were wearing. They were provided shelter by the Housing Authority and given food, furnishings and other necessities by the John Knox congregation. Our mission is to provide for the immediate nutritional and medical needs of area residents while providing information and programs that will contribute to self-development and independence.
