The WE CARE Jacksonville network is a non-profit organization which began as a grass roots coalition of physicians, nurses, dentist, hospitals, public health facilities, other allied health professionals, clerical personnel, and local church groups. Together they bring desperately needed primary and specialty care to those who need it most - the non-insured, the homeless, and medically underserved people of Jacksonville.
The WE CARE program provides free medical treatment and when necessary, hospitalization to Duval County persons in need of these services. If a patient requires medical evaluation/treatment beyond the scope of what the clinic can provide, a referral is made to an appropriate WE CARE participating specialist.
